Yang Chiang. Fai Saao. Telegram reporting looting of 10 villages; 20 men killed and 140 persons carried off.

Teung Shang Hui Pao. 4.2.14.

Yang Chiang. 10 miles from the city 6 persons killed and 10 wounded by 1,000 robbers. Many houses burnt and several thousand dollars worth of goods carried off.

72 Hang Shang Pao. 5.2.14. Yang Chiang. Cn'iao Jeng. 4 persone killed, 30 houses burnt and a great quantity of property carried off.
